There are 120 playgrounds in the Inverness area however Whin Park was designed to be the “honeypot”. This busy and popular play area is used by local residents and visitors to the Highland capital.
Working closely with the Highland Council ESF designed, supplied and installed this wonderful timber play area complete with imaginary play aeroplane and train. It also features an extensive tower system with enclosed stainless steel slide, nets, wibbly wobbly bridge and mountaineering ramp. Aviemore is a village that has been involved in an exciting growth of outdoor activities and pursuits in Scotland. Recognised initially for its famous ski slopes, Aviemore is now a force to be reckoned with and plays a vital part in the Scottish Tourist Industry. This is due in part to its unique setting in some of the most imposing and awesome surroundings in the Highlands of Scotland but the Railway and Queen Victoria’s passionate love of the Highlands have also helped to put it on the map.
In conjunction with Macdonald Hotels and Tulloch Construction, ESF were delighted to design and supply this incredibly popular timber play area. Key play pieces include the lazy bones hammock and nest swing - perfect for integrated play, meaning that special needs and able bodied children can play together. The ropy net tree, wibbly wobbly bridge and tower system promote exercise and coordination whilst there is imaginary play with train set and role play and communication or even a quiet zone with the play house.
The play area also includes a nearby seating area, with junior and adult seating available.
